This is a 1939 International D2 Pickup truck hot rod.
I am selling for someone else so even though the information is as accurate as possible, I don't know all the details on what make this truck great. Please look at the photos and feel free to contact me with any questions.
It has been chopped about 4 inches. It also has a custom aluminum bed and a custom front bumper. The lines on this car are very cool, much better looking than the stock truck in my opinion. The car has been with the same owner for over 30 years. This was the classic backyard find on the East Coast, just sitting there. It was then completely redone, chopped, and customized. It's a hot rod that looks like an International.
It has been out of order for a few years due to an accident; before that, it was an everyday driver. After accident, body was put on a 1986 Chevy Chasis. The engine is a low mileage crate engine; he'd put it in a few months before the accident. It's an automatic. Car is not running, it needs the wiring harness installed and finish putting everything back together. The driver side fender needs some work to patch up; there's a new fiber glass passenger side fender. The dashboard has been customized from another truck. There is some rust in the car but nothing major. In the photos you may not see the floorboards but we have them. Paint is faded but in fair shape. Basically, car was awesome, he got into an accident, and at the same time he was putting together a 1929 Ford Phaeton so he never got around to finish this truck.
Last picture is of what the truck looked like in its heyday. A beauty.
This is really a one of a kind truck, don't see many of these that have been customized.
Price is negotiable. Email me or call me with questions.
