International Harvester was very popular in the 1940s and 1950s as the vehicle that dominated the market for major farming operations in America
The company International Harvester Company both pre war and post war produced tractors and trucks that were the equipment of choice due to solid and reliable performance
This truck has the original rebuilt 213 cu in Green Diamond straight six engine
The vehicle has a tremendous amount of torque and was able to move heavy equipment around with ease
It may not go real fast but this truck could pull your house off the foundation
The truck was used on a farm in southern Michigan to deliver corn seed to the planting equipment in the fields
The original Plant Renk Corn signs are still on both sides of the truck bed
Please take notice of the home grown modification of the tailgate with a make shift grain shoot to dispense buckets of planting corn to the feeder shoots on the planting equipment
The front of the bed and the rear of the bed had planks in place to enable the truck to hold a days worth of planting corn on board
The truck would then follow along in the fields during planting season and dispense Renk Corn bucket by bucket from the grain shoot
The truck was brought to Arizona in the mid 1960s where it was left in storage for almost 40 years
The current owner acquired the vehicle in 2003 and just recently completed the restoration project
The goal of the restoration was to bring this truck back to life as a safe
sound and reliable vehicle but to maintain the appearance and historical value that time and mother nature had bestowed

Engine compartment and drive train under body restored to original and under body finished with 415 undercoat
Complete restoration of brake system with the addition of new White wall tires
Complete new fuel system with a custom 18 gallon fuel cell added
