MS CLASSIC Cars is proud to present a beautiful 1963 Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor. Over the years of collecting classic cars and trucks I’ve developed other passions for vintage items such as toys, signs, gas pumps, pedal cars and now tractors! I’ve always appreciated tractors and I have a few friends who over the years have turned me on to tractors as well. I had an older 70’s model Cub Cadet riding lawn mower growing up and thought it would be cool to one day one a vintage Cub Cadet. The goal would be to find an earlier model that was in great condition for a complete restoration. The search was on. I came across the tractor your about to witness advertised for sale and purchased it. I went to pick it up in Bourne, MA. While we were at the gentleman’s house he also had other vintage items for sale that I purchased including a 40’s Farmall Model A tractor and a 30’s Sunoco gas pump.
This Cub Cadet tractor was in great condition when we purchased it. All of the sheet metal was original including the deck which is rare. Most decks are in really rough shape. The Cub Cadet was introduced in 1961 so this is very early tractor which makes it very collectable. The gentleman I purchased it from had the engine rebuilt by one of the oldest Cud Cadet dealers in the US named Madson’s. There located in St.Nazianz, WI. He also had some other miscellaneous things done totaling over $1190.44. I then had the tractor stripped and restored like new. Everything on this tractor has been rebuild and done like it was back in 1963. It has NOS emblems and stickers. Some of the stickers were made that aren’t available today. It even has an NOS clip for the deck level handle which was $43 by itself! A lot of hours and thousands of dollars were spent on this tractor. It’s a very rare and beautiful tractor that makes a great display and conversation piece. Get it before someone does else does!
