This 1979 International Scout II is a well-sorted example with great power options, including a V8, automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. It has just been repainted in the correct color (Lexington Blue with white Rallye stripes and a white hard top) and it has also undergone a complete mechanical service. Paint quality is excellent and all panels are straight with good gaps; glass, trim, bumpers and grille are in very good condition. Original paint and decals are still present under the hood. Brand new BF Goodrich 31x10.50 all-terrain tires on new Eagle Alloy rims give this classic Scout and updated look.
The interior shows well, with seats, door panels, carpet and dash in good condition. An older AM/FM/cassette is currently fitted in the dash; we are happy to discuss upgrading to the head unit of your choice (Bluetooth, USB, aux input, etc).
Under the hood is International Harvester's 345 cubic inch V8 mated to a TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission. The engine just received a full tune-up (cap, rotor, coil, plugs and wires) and a new Holley four-barrel carburetor. All service is up-to-date, and the truck starts, runs and drives very well. With power steering and power disc brakes, the truck is easy and comfortable to drive.
